Hemphill Lamar Taylor Connector

Hemphill Lamar Taylor Connector

The Hemphill Lamar Taylor Connector project in Fort Worth, TX, resulted in improved access and traffic flow on the City’s south side. TranSystems led the team providing civil and structural engineering design, field surveying, drainage and utility design, subsurface utility engineering, right of way acquisition, traffic control, cost estimating, public involvement, and project management. TranSystems’ design extended Hemphill Road as a four-lane roadway via a 400-foot tunnel. The $12 million construction involved maintaining all railroad operations, which was accomplished through staged construction.
