CREATE P3 Forest Hill Flyover Bridge

TranSystems is providing construction management services to CSX for the CREATE Program’s Forest Hill Flyover bridge (CREATE P3 – CSX over NS and Metra) and the 71st Street Grade Separation (CREATE GS19 – CSX over 71st Street), two parts of the 75th Street Corridor Improvement Project. The Forest Hill Flyover flies the CSX (B&OCT) tracks over the NS and Metra main lines, eliminating the existing diamond crossing with a 5,500-ft.-long flyover structure. The 71st Street grade separates CSX over 71st Street. TranSystems is conducting engineering, constructability reviews, and administrative management services. TranSystems will perform a variety of inspection, management, reporting, and coordination tasks that will be critical to ensuring the success of the project, which is in a dense urban environment with more than 100 daily passenger and freight trains.
