SR 50/Groveland PD&E Environmental Study
Florida DOT District 5
TranSystems conducted a Project Development and Environment Study (NEPA) for the re-alignment of 2.3 miles of SR 50 on a new roadway alignment through the town of Groveland in Lake County, Florida. The project included environmental analysis, environmental justice evaluation, preliminary engineering, drainage and public involvement for an anticipated new 4-lane roadway around the central core of Groveland, which will be designated as the new alignment of SR 50. The project returned existing city streets to one-way pairs with parking and included design for a multi-use trail with undercrossing.
