CLIFF DRIVE AND SPIRIT OF KC CONNECTOR

Located in the heart of Kansas City’s historic east side is the recently expanded Cliff Drive trail. TranSystems was hired to design a new shared-use trail and scenic byway that encapsulates the area’s scenic view of the Missouri River. The new trail features two separate connectors, each with bicycle and pedestrian paths. The 1.94-mile trails included ADA ramp improvements and sidewalk improvements as well as wayfinding and byway connection signs throughout the trail.
