TranSystems designed and engineered the Caribou Weather Forecast Office, which gathers weather data in the American Northeast. The new facility is the most energy efficient, environmentally sound facility in the National Weather Service. The building earned LEED 2.0 Silver certification by the U.S. Green Building Council and it was part of the Federal Energy Management Program’s “You Have the Power” campaign.
