Chicago, Illinois
City of Chicago, Illinois

TranSystems provided construction management services for Chicago’s 41st Street Pedestrian Bridge, a curving blue metal structure comprised of two main span inclined arch structures on a reverse curve alignment crossing over Lake Shore Drive and the railroad tracks. The bridge increases lakefront access on the south side of Chicago and is fully ADA accessible, with ramps to accommodate bicycles, wheel chairs, and emergency vehicles.
