Responsibilities
What you'll be challenged to do:
Gannett Fleming TranSystems is looking for a Senior Mechanical Enginner to join our team in our Fife, Washington Office. Our engineers enjoy working on a diverse range of projects in a variety of sectors, including schools, military, healthcare, municipal, institutional, commercial, and multi-family residential.
The Puget Sound region is bustling with growth and development, making it the perfect place for an abundance of engineering firms. In a field full of potential employers, we think there are three main things that set us apart - our size, reputation, and location.
- Size:We'd like to think our office is the perfect size - big enough to bring in exciting and varied work, but small enough to operate out of a single office and maintain that family feel. You'll know each of your coworkers by name, manage your jobs from design through construction, interact regularly with company owners, and have increased opportunities to take on new challenges.
- Location:It's well known that the commute to Seattle and its suburbs can be pretty grueling. The Tacoma office avoids the bumper-to-bumper traffic with our easy-to-access location in the South Sound. We have ample free parking and a large office that we regularly utilize for gatherings like lunch and learns, summer BBQs, espresso carts, and ping pong.
