Harold Gehman With more than 35 years of active duty in the US Navy, Admiral Gehman retired after serving as NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander, Atlantic, and as the Commander-in-Chief of the US Joint Forces Command. Since joining our Board, he has served as Co-chairman of the DoD investigation into the terrorist attack on the USS Cole, and as Chairman of the Space Shuttle Columbia Accident Investigation Board. He was also appointed by the President to the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure Commission.
