DuPage River Trail

City of Naperville, Illinois

TranSystems performed a feasibility study for the entire, 9-mile DuPage River Trail and has designed three of the five segments. The Trail provides  off-road facilities along the river through the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County and Naperville Park District.  Engineering services have included  environmental coordination, evaluation of feasible alignments, preliminary alignment analysis, development of a preferred improvement plan, bikeway layout, grading and earthwork analysis, and final contract plans.  For Segment 4, TranSystems provided  a Resident Engineer, Inspectors and other technical personnel to observe, monitor and document the contractor's progress from the start of field operations to final completion.
