TranSystems is the Architect of Record for  interior design of  the massive new  2,250,000 sq ft, 55-gate American Airlines Terminal at JFK International Airport in New York. Drawing on ten years of previous work for American, the project team designed all interior public spaces, including the administrative and operations areas, the premium clubs and lounges, and the concessions program. The new Terminal 8, built as the two existing terminals it replaces were demolished in phases, is the largest terminal developed by an individual airline anywhere in the world.
