Ottawa Transportation Master Plan

City of Ottawa, Kansas

TranSystems prepared a Transportation Master Plan (TMP) for the City of Ottawa, KS to help keep traffic moving well into the future. A critical step was the development of a travel demand model using TransCAD, involving socio-economic data forecasts for the future year 2035. The TMP identified streets and highways that faced capacity issues and provided a recommended list of improvements and costs. TranSystems also completed a Pavement Management Program for the City utilizing APWA's Paver program. The program helps the City optimally maintain their streets, given several different levels of available funding.
