Traffic takes its toll – on toll way plazas as well as the roadway.  For improvements to Waukegan Plaza  21, TranSystems assured that all work conformed to the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority's current practices and the contract documents. TranSystems’ team was responsible for all field supervision, verification of measurements, maintenance of traffic oversight, and proper construction practices; they also supervised the demolition of a bridge over the toll way, driving of the piles for new substructure footings, substructure construction, and erection of the longest T-beams in Illinois.
