Construction Administration

Few clients are able to fully staff a construction project with experienced construction engineers to oversee complex projects. Without proper oversight, the project is subject to increased costs and time delays. TranSystems understands that the construction phase is often the most unpredictable and challenging, and our construction administration team offers support in key construction phase activities such as coordinating and responding to requests for information, and managing change orders, site visits and review meetings.

TranSystems has extensive experience in the construction management, administration, and inspection of heavy highway construction, including rigid and flexible pavements, multi-span and simple bridges, box culverts, cast-in-place and modular block retaining walls, grading and traffic signal installations. We also have significant experience in inspecting railroad, road and street reconstruction/rehabilitation, and airport rehabilitation projects, which involve careful field coordination.

Our construction management background includes working with all parties involved to provide the owner with the best quality solution possible. We believe that our knowledge of what it takes to construct a quality project will be integral to the success of your project. Services provided by our team include: daily construction observation and documentation; review and approval of construction submittals and schedules; preparation of progress payments and change orders; utility coordination; construction staking; field/plant sampling and testing of asphalt and concrete; falsework/temporary structures plan review and site inspection; and special investigations for construction related problems.

TranSystems has provided professional construction inspection services for many years and is prequalified in Special Services – Construction Inspection. We have provided quality solutions to public and private clients such as railroads, departments of Transportation, tollways, airport authorities, and ports.
