TranSystems Announces New and Promoted Company Officers
TranSystems announces its newest company officers. These appointments recognize professionals who have made outstanding contributions to the company’s success and growth, have demonstrated in-depth industry knowledge and have proven the ability to work effectively across the organization. 
 
These individuals were nominated and accepted by TranSystems’ Board of Directors into new leadership positions and ownership levels within the company.

Jamie Hamm – Kansas City, MO

Jamie has always been dedicated to client satisfaction and has done an exceptional job. Jamie has a great relationship with his design team and stays informed on the progress of each of his projects ensuring quality and client satisfaction. 
 
Andrew Schneider – Columbus, OH

Principal 
Andrew’s sales cross multiple service lines and market sectors. Andrew enthusiastically embraces the multi-modal focus the company has in the transportation industry. He cares deeply about employee morale and strives to further the professional and office culture.

Since joining the firm in 2013, Ian has become the lead person marketing to clients for South Florida roadway design assignments. In a few short years, he has grown his sales, client relationships, and reputation at an impressive speed. 

Chad Gartner – Fort Worth, TX

Chad has proven to be very diligent and has consistently shown his ability to sell work across four market sectors. He currently serves as the division leader for the Fort Worth office and has led the efforts in the Dallas-Fort Worth area to hire and develop newly graduated engineers. 
 
Brian Metz – Columbus, OH

Brian is a ‘go-to’ environmental resource within TranSystems and has supported projects in all regions and market sectors. His technical and management skills have provided successful completion of many projects not only in Ohio and Great Lakes but across the regions.

Michael is a true team leader always willing to get into the trenches to help his team complete a project ahead of schedule. He truly cares for all of his employees helping them grow through the mentoring program he developed for the Wichita office. 
 
Kirsten Clayward – Berkeley, CA
Assistant Vice President
Senior Professional – Technical 
Kirsten has served multiple roles, including project manager, architectural team leader, GIS analyst and has become more involved in office operations. Kirsten joined TranSystems in 2006 and has completed the company's Emerging Partners Program for up and coming leaders.
 
David Henry – Atlanta, GA
Assistant Vice President

As one of the leaders in our Atlanta office, David is recognized as an industry leader by our clients and competitors in the Atlanta market. His work positively impacts our relationships and reputation with our clients helping us to win additional contracts. 
 
Tim Hernandez – Chicago, IL

Senior Professional – Technical 
For the past 11 years, Tim has managed the structural steel inspection portion of the Chicago Department of Transportation QC/QA project. Tim also developed the required training and certification program needed for TranSystems to perform Ultrasonic Testing. 
 
Mike Hobbs – Fort Worth, TX

Mike has an excellent reputation of delivering quality projects on schedule and within budget. Clients trust his work and admire his ability to deliver projects under trying circumstances, all the while providing the staff with a “can do” attitude. 
 
Eric Newman – Santa Ana, CA

Eric has taken on multiple roles throughout his tenure at TranSystems, including project manager and client manager. Eric has mentored staff members in the field and takes in active role in the growth and career development of our staff. 
 
Lindsay Madsen – Kansas City, MO

Lindsay has a strong work ethic and does what it takes to complete her projects to the client’s satisfaction. She has progressed in project management over the last three years and is now one of the highest revenue producing project managers in the Kansas City office. 
 
John McWhorter – Atlanta, GA

Senior Professional – Technical 
John is well known among the TranSystems offices on the East Coast as the go-to engineer for bridge hydraulics support. One of his greatest strengths is his willingness and dedication to mentoring the junior staff on his team passing along his passion for the practice. 
 
Wayne Miczek – Schaumburg, IL

Wayne has experience in multi-modal transportation planning, travel demand modeling, and policy analysis and is a primary resource for travel demand forecasting within TranSystems. 
 
Farhad Panthaki – Boston, MA

Farhad’s role within TranSystems has evolved into a technical expert in bridge load rating procedures / techniques while mentoring young engineers. He is sought after by the firm’s bridge leaders and has provided exceptional service on many interoffice assignments. 
 
Randy Schmidt – Berkeley, CA

Randy is a key leader in our federal market sector and has proven value to clients through his strong technical background, innovation, communication skills, and unwavering dedication to delivering to meet client expectations and needs. 
 
Andrew Stanevicius – San Diego, CA

Through his tenure, Andrew has continuously sought ways to grow and be a valued employee. His clients’ high level of satisfaction with his service is quite evident – existing clients have expanded the types of services his team offers and past clients have provided repeat business. 
 
Nick Staroski – Kansas City, MO

Since joining TranSystems, Nick has proved himself as an important piece of our Freight Sector group with the ability to manage and oversee large complicated bridge projects. Nick has been an important piece in the success of the sector’s clients in bringing in new work in the door. 
 
Jimmy Vuong – Santa Ana, CA

In addition to his daily duties as a senior project engineer and project manager, Jimmy closely monitors the office operational technical performance for project deliverables, monitors and manages labor forces and provides supervision and support for the Santa Ana staff. 
 
Lynne Marie Whately – Berkeley, CA

After returning to TranSystems in 2014 as a member of the Berkeley office, her California High-Speed Rail experience directly contributed to TranSystems’ expanded work under our FRA contract and she has built a team of planning and environmental capabilities not previously offered.

Major airports across the country are in the middle of a construction boom, with a reported $5.42 billion spent on airport construction in May 2018 – a 75 percent increase over May 2017. A multi-year $14 billion construction plan is underway at LAX and New York’s LaGuardia has started a renovation worth an estimated $8 billion, while Chicago is in the midst of kicking off an $8.7 billion Capital Improvement Program. click to read
Built in 1697 and reconstructed in 1893, The Frankford Avenue Bridge over Pennypack Creek in the Holmesburg section of Philadelphia recently underwent another rehabilitation continuing its history. TranSystems served as designer on the rehabilitation.  click to read
