Presenting at the MODEX 2012 trade show are three of TranSystems’ specialists in manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain solutions – John Hill, Vice President; Norm Saenz, Senior Vice President; and Heather King, Vice President. MODEX 2012, one of the supply chain industry’s largest expositions, will be held February 6 – 9 in Atlanta, Ga., at the Georgia World Congress Center.
Hill’s presentation, entitled “Leveraging Metrics to Drive Warehouse Performance Improvement,” will provide attendees with a process and a template for developing and implementing a metrics-based warehouse performance improvement program. Hill will share insights from his more than 40 years of experience in material handling and warehouse technology and systems. His seminar (#229) will be held on Tuesday, February 7, at Theater F from 2:30 pm to 3:15 pm.
The seminar, “Bridging the Gap between Legacy and Best-of-Breed WMS,” presented by King and Saenz will guide attendees through assessment of the value of modifying current WMS systems or investing in a new one. The two have worked together on more than 70 WMS projects for numerous companies across the country. King and Saenz’ seminar (#304) will be held on Wednesday, February 8, at Theater A from 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm.
Hill, Saenz, and King are all recognized leaders in the supply chain industry. With a combined 86 years of experience, the three have extensive knowledge of warehousing and distribution, facility layout and space planning, labor and staffing strategies, technology evaluation, material handling and storage solutions, product slotting, logistics network optimization and software. Widely published, Hill has given more than 350 seminars and presentations for corporate clients, trade and professional societies in North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia. Saenz has published more than 50 articles in industry magazines and has presented at more than 30 national conferences. King has completed more than 75 consulting projects and has been a presenter at multiple national events.
