Project Summary

The Princeton II project involves expanding the Vehicle Distribution Center to accommodate increasing TMMI West Plant production, the completion of the East Plant and support of TMS goal for U.S. sales of 2,000,000 vehicles by the year 2010. Specifically the project includes the expansion of on-site and off-site rail capacity to support loading 170 rail cars per day; developing the unimproved area of the existing Marshaling Yard commensurate with increased production volumes; expansion of the PPO Building to handle increased volume, improve flexibility/efficiency, increase parts storage capacity, and expand support space for staff levels in line with processing volumes; extension of the rail to connect with CSX main line; coordination with INDOTs Hwy. 41 improvements.
