Fleet Maintenance Shop Facilities

TranSystems has designed numerous fleet maintenance facilities across the US.  We have designed fleet maintenance facilities for a variety of general and specialized vehicles ranging from automobiles to large, over-the-road trucks, transit busses, to locomotives and everything in between.

Our professional staff of architects and engineers has completed projects for groups such truck-load (TL), less-than-truckload (LTL) carriers, and city transit authorities – all of which maintain vehicles with highly standardized equipment. Our staff also designs facilities for groups such as city public works departments and private sector fleet service providers, which sustain a wide variety of equipment from forklifts to city transit busses within the same facility. We have extensive knowledge and understanding of the special code requirements associated with these types of facilities, and experience with most of the major shop equipment, such as hydraulic lifts, cranes, vehicle exhaust systems, and service fluid delivery systems.
