Eight recently completed  security-related projects by TranSystems attacked a wide range of access and security system issues, from security system inspection/verification and developing installation and bid requirements for installation of electronic access control systems to specifying the design of chemical detection and video assessment systems and assisting with the planning of a WMD drill. Benefits realized by Amtrak include efficient bid processes, standardization of access control system specifications and requirements, and assurance that effective prevention and response mechanisms are in place at their stations.
