Laketran Bus Maintenance Facility

Faced with growing demand for transit services, Laketran was becoming cramped in its 150,000 square-foot bus operations and maintenance facility. TranSystems took a fresh look at their needs, using an operations questionnaire and interviews to identify potential improvements and analyze their effects on overall operations. The project team recommended several projects in each service area – administration, drivers/operations, maintenance and interior service and storage. The renovation and expansion is being implemented without interruption of 24/7 operations.
