Cap Metro's service strategy is changing; the Authority wants to maximize resource utilization and customer service. TranSystems was charged with assessing existing business processes and technology systems and helping to define, procure and implement ITS applications for fixed-route, paratransit, bus rapid transit, and a new commuter rail system. To date, TranSystems prepared an ITS Needs Assessment, Action and Implementation Plans along with specifications for an RFP. Currently, TranSystems is providing detailed implementation management services to assist CMTA during the deployment of the recommended technologies.
