Albany High-Performance Transit Service

Capital District Transportation Authority, Albany, New York

Conceptual design and preliminary engineering of twenty stations for a high-performance transit service in a key corridor connecting the downtowns of Albany and Schenectady. Numerous factors were examined, including current and expected ridership in the corridor, route alignment, operating schemes, station location and design, passenger amenities, and priority roadway treatments. The scope of work for the station engineering project included custom shelter designs, station layouts, environmental analysis, and ADA compliance review.
