Nashville Music City Central

Metropolitan Transit Authority, Nashville, Tennessee

This multi-function transit hub will serve 14,000 riders a day and provide municipal parking, retail/office space and a pubic plaza to enhance street life. Planned, designed and constructed under TranSystems' leadership, the bi-level transit center features two-way, stacked horseshoe bus lanes to reduce its footprint to a single block of the 2 1/2 acre site. Massing preserves sightlines to the Capitol while classical design blends with State buildings. Transit riders will pass time between busses in comfort and style – with lunchtime concerts on the menu.
