I-95 Palm Beach County PD&E

Florida DOT - District 4, Palm Beach, Florida

Traffic on I-95 between Glades Road and Linton Boulevard in Palm Beach County, FL is often congested. TranSystems' PD&E thoroughly analyzed conditions within the 6.5-mile study area and evaluated  adjacent roadways. Initial recommendations call for widening I-95 in the project area from eight to 10 lanes, including the continuation of the two existing High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes and the addition of two auxiliary lanes. In addition, the team evaluated the potential benefits of a new interchange, produced a conceptual design, and estimated costs for ROW acquisition.
