Design/Build

Design-build is instrumental to streamlining projects. It provides a way for owners to consolidate the design and construction phases in order to complete a project on a fast track schedule, and with a trusted partner by their side providing expertise and management as needed throughout process.

TranSystems has familiarity with the design-build process rooted in years of experience performing on design-build projects. Our design-build goals are the same as most of our clients. In fact, we require this of ourselves. We determine the most effective path towards project completion. We make it our job to bring an awareness of the needs of both the client and the end user.

A professional design team of senior architects and engineers culminates in a design/build project that is well-planned with an established vision communicated through drawings and specifications to a general contractor, with whom we will work closely so the project is completed to your expectation. During design management, our team gathers information and works with you to determine your main goals for the project. Once those are established, contract documents are created maintaining constant contact with you to keep you fully engaged throughout the process. When construction commences, we offer management services providing experienced advice for a variety of disciplines. We dedicate our most qualified personnel to review shop drawings and equipment submittals. Finally, at project close-out, our staff arranges for a final review of the work and distributes a punch list of items to be completed prior to final acceptance. The success of this approach greatly enhances the functional requirements of the design/build project for our clients.
