Maritime Structural Engineering

TranSystems has played a prominent part in waterfront structural and civil engineering as a consultant to NAVFAC for over 40 years. Our waterfront experience includes the design, inspection and repair of piers, wharves, quaywalls, drydocks, bulkheads, seawalls, breakwaters, crane rail systems and fenders, as well as the utility systems associated with those facilities.

Our structural engineers have extensive knowledge of heavy marine structures and construction techniques.

 TranSystems has successfully completed numerous civil engineering projects and IDIQ contracts for NAVFAC within the Mid-Atlantic region and all over the world. Our experience includes the design of new, as well as the repair/modification of existing utility systems for military bases and facilities. We are also one of the leading designers of airfield and vehicular pavements for the Navy.
