Post Cook Chill Cell Addition

Kraft Foods Global, Inc., Newberry, South Carolina

Over the years at the Kraft Louis Rich facility in Newberry South Carolina, as product lines have grown or as new processes and packaging lines have been added, additional post cook chill cells have been required. TranSystems has designed two main building additions to house these chill cells. This project added an additional operator control room, fourteen new chill cells, a utility service area and a motor control center adjacent to the cells constructed under a previous addition. TranSystems provided comprehensive site, civil, architectural, structural, mechanical and ammonia refrigeration design services and delivered drawings and specifications for competitive bidding.
