Project Management

Projects large or small require dedicated personnel to manage the details. TranSystems has specialized expertise in project administration and coordination - managing the details so that our clients don't have to. We have been retained as program or project manager on a number of projects acting on the client's behalf to complete design and construction projects from start to finish. Our staff works with service providers, including the designer-of-record and the general contractor, as well as stakeholders such as railroads, local governments and businesses to prepare and administer the necessary contracts to complete the scope of work - manage the material orders and distribution, meet environmental requirements, coordinate right-of-way acquisition, host site safety meetings and training, inspect construction elements, maintain traffic systems - and organize the work of all of the affected parties.

Our staff provides a multitude of expertise in engineering design and operations, which prove extremely beneficial in coordinating the construction and maintenance agreements between the stakeholders. Additionally, our construction experience helps bring projects to completion on time, within budget, and with an outstanding record of safety and public service. We look beyond basic engineering design and construction issues, and incorporate financial responsibility, environmental responsibility, multimodal requirements, local business needs, aesthetics, convenience to the motoring public, and safety into the design. The results of our program management demonstrate the effectiveness of partnering with all the stakeholders and using creative contracting mechanisms to accomplish the project goals.

We regularly work with local, state, and national public entities as well as private organizations to provide the utmost in project management services.
