TranSystems works with customers on environmentally sensitive facilities that are located in environmental sensitive areas or are being considered for development in these areas. Design of these facilities in this type of environment can encounter a number of issues and we have the experience assisting clients in working with various local, state, and federal authorities.
Through use of our in-house expertise or a network of subconsultants we have assisted our clients with the permitting process, working with and obtaining variances from the Army Corp of Engineers and local jurisdictions. Our vast experience in the area of highway and rail development has allowed us to build a NEPA practice that provides expertise in:
►Ecological resources (streams, wetlands, threatened/endangered species, stream restoration, floodplains, water quality,
wild and scenic rivers, and Section 404/401 permitting)
►Cultural resources (history/architecture, archaeology)
►Hazardous materials (environmental site investigations, remedial design, asbestos inspection, mold inspections)
Our staff's wide-ranging expertise can help clients streamline the often cumbersome process of environmental planning and design.
With a full spectrum of disciplines, industry focus, and geographic reach, we take our client’s vision from the conceptual environment to the built environment. Our experience crosses the entire spectrum of transportation-related systems so we can tailor our approach to your individual project.
