Conrail Perth Amboy West Wye Connection

Consolidated Rail Corporation (Conrail), Perth Amboy, New Jersey

TranSystems was selected to design the reconstruction of the west leg of the Wye connection between Conrail’s Perth Amboy Branch and New Jersey Transit’s North Jersey Coast Line.  The project team provided a topological survey and micro-station generated plans with contours, property lines and horizontal track location, top of rail profiles and cross sections for the new Y track. We also provided plan and calculations showing that all excavated material could be disposed of within the Conrail property.
