The BNSF Railroad's rail network is vital to moving food, fuel and goods across the nation. TranSystems has been a continuing partner in expanding the efficiency of rail services through infrastructure planning and design. Projects include major capacity expansion on the BNSF's mainlines through the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska and Wyoming. For this project, TranSystems provided engineering design and construction management services for 20.3 miles of new mainline trackage between Kiowa, KS and Alva, OK. Designs were provided for the track, 11 new bridges, 10 culverts, and 14 public at-grade crossings.
