Main Track and Branch Line

As the primary artery of the rail system, main tracks must be constructed and updated as necessary to provide for the continuous flow of train traffic. Since branch lines are an integral part of that circulatory system, they are considered equally important to the work conducted by TranSystems.

We perform design and management for main track and branch line projects including capacity, siding, route relocation, urban bypass, and new main track construction and main track reconstruction, from the conceptual level through final design and construction. Our team can provide expertise in bridge design, culvert and drainage design, track design, grading, road crossing design, permitting, construction plans and specification documents, and project construction bidding assistance.

Throughout the construction of rail projects our team acts as an extension to the client when performing construction management, construction inspection, and program management including monitoring of design, survey and construction management budgets, comparing estimated project costs to actual, preparing client billings, coordinating logistics for material procurement and delivery, establishing sub-consultant contracts and processing sub-consultant invoices, and preparing engineering completion reports. We make your goals our own.
