KCS US71 Railroad Bridge

Kansas City Southern Railway, Grandview, Missouri

TranSystems provided fast-track design of new trackage and two new railroad bridges for KCS with related engineering services. The rail project had fallen behind schedule, jeopardizing a major highway improvement underway on U.S. 71 in a highly congested area known as the Grandview Triangle. KCS retained TranSystems to ensure timely completion of the railroad bridges; construction was finished in the summer of 2006, six months ahead of estimated completion. The highway project is proceeding on schedule.
