As a consultant to the federal government for more than 40 years, TranSystems has played a prominent part in waterfront planning and design. Our waterfront experience includes the design of new, as well as the inspection and repair of existing piers, wharves, quaywalls, drydocks, bulkheads, seawalls, breakwaters, crane rail systems and fenders, as well as the utility systems associated with those facilities. Additionally, our structural capabilities include the inspection, evaluation and design of repairs to existing buildings and structures and the development of new facilities.
Our structural and civil engineers have extensive knowledge of heavy marine structures and construction techniques. We have participated in the design and construction management for a broad range of new construction, renovation and repairs projects. Our team has served as a prime contractor for several multi-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contracts to provide architecture and engineering services along the waterfront. Our waterfront staff has experience working all over the world including Guam and India.
