Housing and Personnel Support

Military bases all around the US provide housing and support to their men and women in uniform – giving them a place they can call home. In addition to housing, these facilities regularly provide food service, recreation, and research laboratories that offer base residents a space to relax and unwind as well as a quiet place for reflection and study.
Barracks
At TranSystems, we design buildings and configure spaces to provide the utmost in comfort, rest, and a sense of community to military personnel. Our barracks’ designs promote ease of maintenance, reduced life cycle cost and enhanced environmental sustainability. We have designed major housing projects at a number of installations around the world. In 2007, our design for the Bachelor Enlisted Quarters (BEQ), at Shaw Air Force Base received the Air Force Air Combat Command (ACC) Showcase Project of the Year.
Our staff has designed many BEQs, dormitories and housing projects.
Food Services Facilities/ Retail Stores
Across the continental US, TranSystems has designed food service and retail facilities that are attentive to military protocol on health and safety, food service efficiency, and retail transaction. We are currently serving the Army Air Force Exchange Services, which provides support to the military in food services and other personnel support in planning and design of global systems.
Laboratories
Laboratory projects require a deep understanding of the proposed facility and familiarity with specific design requirements. TranSystems has experience with numerous types of laboratories, including electronics, clean room, robotics, chemical and aerospace.
