Air Cargo Building at Albany

Albany International Airport is the only commercial airport serving the Upper Hudson Region. Over 12,000 tons of cargo pass through it annually. When a public/private partnership was formed to construct expanded facilities for air cargo shippers, including Airborne Express, Federal Express and United Parcel Service, TranSystems was selected to plan and design the building. The project team also provided extensive civil and structural engineering for development of the 19.5 acre site. The design included a 409,000 sq ft aircraft parking ramp and taxiway connector.
