Airport Terminals

TranSystems continues to be a leader in airport terminal planning, design, and project management. Our scope of expertise includes design and implementation of information technology systems, for example network and desktop, public address and WiFi, and information display. Considering people, the end-user, every step of the way we also design customer service processing including ticketing, gate and baggage service counters and self-service check-in, baggage sortation systems, concessions, art-in-public places, and airline and airport clubs and lounges. In addition to the in-terminal processes and facilities we provide, we are considered leaders in consolidated rental car facility design, public parking at grade and multi-story facilities. Our engineering capabilities include apron condition assessment and rehabilitation.

Our senior architects and planners have developed plans and design for many terminals. They have developed full terminal complex programs including regional rail stations and parking systems, passenger and security systems and graphics.

Not only do we have the design expertise but we have the management expertise from personnel that come from years of experience working directly for the major air carriers. We are sensitive to the airlines needs and understand when, where and how to best invest the design and construction dollars in the difficult aviation economy.
