Air Cargo Centre at Portland Int'l Airport

The AMB Property Corporation teamed with Trammell Crow Company to lease 10.7 acres of land at PDX to develop two air cargo handling and distribution facilities totaling 159,000 sq. ft.  TranSystems was prime designer, responsible for architecture, planning and civil and structural engineering for the facilities, the largest in the PDX Airtrans Center, covering 22 acres. The design specified two buildings of 114,500 sq ft and 45,000 sq ft. consisting of pre-engineered steel with metal deck and siding.  Facilities include a taxiway extension and 6.5 acres of apron for Group V aircraft.
